Hydraulic retarder is an integrated product of collector, electricity, gas, liquid and proportional control, which is mainly composed of operating handle, retarder controller, wire harness, hydraulic retarder mechanical assembly, etc. In this process, the control unit of the retarder communicates with the relevant control system of the vehicle to ensure that the operation of the retarder does not affect the other systems of the vehicle. At the same time, the heat exchanger of the retarder transfers the heat generated by the working fluid to the vehicle’s cooling system, emitting it out to prevent the retarder from overheating. At constant speed, the retarder automatically adjusts the braking force according to the slope of the downhill to ensure a fixed speed. At the same time, the retarder can make corresponding actions according to the throttle and ABS action CAN bus information. When the ABS action or the accelerator is pressed, the retarder will automatically quit work.
