Shacman Lightweight Three-Segment Integrated Mudguard: Innovation Leading, Quality Upgrading

Shacman Lightweight Three-Segment Integrated Mudguard

In the highly competitive overseas automotive market, Shacman has been committed to providing customers with high-quality, diversified products that comply with local regulations. As an important component of the vehicle, the design and performance of the mudguard directly affect the overall quality of the vehicle and the user experience of customers.

The mudguards of Shacman have multiple vehicle model versions in the overseas market, including lightweight, composite, strengthened, and super-strong versions, etc. Moreover, even in the same market, due to the different transportation characteristics of customers, there are also multiple vehicle model versions, and all have the demand for integrated mudguards. However, the regulations of some overseas countries on the width of the entire vehicle vary. For example, the regulations of countries and regions such as Vietnam, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Malaysia require that the width of the entire vehicle be 2500mm.

In order to cope with these complex market demands and regulatory requirements, while improving the quality of products in the overseas market and streamlining the types of mudguards in the overseas market, Shacman has made an important decision – to uniformly switch the integrated mudguard structure to the lightweight three-segment integrated mudguard structure.

This switch brings many significant advantages. First of all, there is a substantial improvement in reliability. The pull-off force at the connection point between the anti-splash device and the mudguard has increased by 30%. The new anti-splash structure not only reduces the additional weight but also reduces the fixed stress, making the connection more reliable. During long-term use, this improvement in reliability can effectively reduce the occurrence of faults and provide a stable guarantee for the transportation work of customers.

The maintenance efficiency has also been significantly improved. Reducing the number of fixed points has greatly shortened the time for maintenance disassembly and assembly. At the same time, the increased disassembly and assembly space enables maintenance personnel to operate more conveniently, thereby significantly improving the maintenance efficiency. This means that when the vehicle encounters problems related to the mudguard, it can return to normal operation faster and reduce the downtime caused by maintenance.

Lightweight is another important achievement of this switch. By integrating the taillight bracket and license plate on the rear mudguard, the self-weight has been successfully reduced. At the same time, the optimized design of the structure has further reduced the self-weight by 33Kg. This not only helps to reduce the energy consumption of the vehicle and improve fuel economy but also increases the effective load of the vehicle to a certain extent, bringing more economic benefits to customers.

The improvement in safety cannot be ignored either. The adoption of the new anti-splash structure has significantly improved the water collection rate and can provide clearer driving safety vision for surrounding vehicles in rainy and snowy weather. This improvement is of great significance for ensuring road traffic safety and reduces the risk of accidents.

The appearance quality has also made a qualitative leap. The design that is coordinated with the appearance of the entire vehicle makes the shape more perfect. The improvement in the quality of the gap surface difference between the mudguards not only enhances the overall aesthetics of the vehicle but also shows Shacman‘s ultimate pursuit of details.

Currently, in response to the regulatory requirements of countries and regions such as Vietnam, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and Malaysia, where the width of the entire vehicle is 2500mm, Shacman has successfully developed lightweight three-segment integrated mudguards that meet regulatory requirements.

This lightweight three-segment integrated mudguard is applicable to X/H/M/F3000 lightweight 6×4 tractors and X/H/M/F3000 strengthened tractors (except for Indonesia, Hong Kong, Australia, and Vietnam).

Shacman has always adhered to being customer-demand-oriented and continuously innovated and improved products. It is believed that this lightweight three-segment integrated mudguard will shine in the overseas market and inject new impetus into the international development of Shacman.
