Walking into the General Assembly Plant of Shacman Holding, one can feel its surging development impetus. On the production line which is over 500 meters long, parts are carefully refined through 50 workstations with the close cooperation of workers and robots, and new vehicles roll off the production line at an efficient rate of about every 5 minutes. From chassis assembly to the installation of batteries and motors, and then to cable connection, every link is carried out in an orderly manner. The intelligent AGV conveyor line enables the automatic storage and precise transmission of vehicle configuration information, making the whole production process Internet-based and allowing real-time control of every detail. At the tire assembly workstation, 4 industrial robots have shown their great capabilities. The process that originally required 6 workers and took 12 minutes can now be completed by 1 worker in just 4 minutes, and the robots also take on the task of vehicle coding, fully demonstrating the high efficiency charm of intelligent manufacturing.

Shacman not only has a solid foundation and strong market dominance in the traditional fuel vehicle field but also actively embraces the transformation of new energy. From January to November this year, the order volume of Shacman’s new energy heavy trucks soared to 9,258 units, with a year-on-year increase of 240%, and the sales volume reached 5,617 units, with a year-on-year increase of 103%. The new energy light trucks also achieved remarkable results, with 6,523 orders, a year-on-year increase of 605%, and 5,489 units sold, a year-on-year increase of 460%. Behind these achievements is Shacman’s long-term technological accumulation, its joint efforts with industrial chain partners to create integrated solutions, its precise grasp of environmental protection needs and market transformation opportunities, and its expansion of diverse application scenarios with sufficient reserves of a full range of new energy products.

By the end of October, Shacman Holding had cumulatively sold 138,000 vehicles, exported 53,000 vehicles, with a year-on-year increase of 13%, and the sales volume of new energy vehicles exceeded 10,000 units, with a year-on-year surge of 200%. Against the backdrop of the overall upward trend of Shaanxi’s auto industry, Shacman, with its outstanding performance, has driven the increase in the province’s vehicle production and helped Shaanxi surpass many provinces, rising to the seventh place in the national ranking.
