Classification Introduction of the Axles of Shacman Heavy-duty Trucks

Among the key components of shacman heavy-duty trucks, the axles play a crucial role. The axles of shacman heavy-duty trucks are mainly divided into two types according to the reducer type: single-stage axles and double-stage axles.

The single-stage axle in shacman heavy-duty trucks has unique characteristics. It has a main reducer and realizes the transmission of the vehicle through single-stage reduction. The diameter of its reduction gear is relatively large, but its impact resistance is relatively weak. The axle housing of the single-stage axle is relatively large, which leads to a smaller ground clearance. In terms of passability, compared with the double-stage axle, the single-stage axle performs slightly worse. Therefore, it is mainly suitable for scenarios such as road transportation where the road conditions are relatively good. For example, in long-distance transportation on the highway, the transmission efficiency of the single-stage axle is relatively high because its structure is relatively simple, reducing the energy loss during the transmission process. And when driving at high speed, the single-stage axle can better ensure the power transmission efficiency and is particularly suitable for transportation tasks such as standard-load transportation that have certain requirements for speed and good road conditions.

The double-stage axle has two stages of reduction, namely the main reducer and the wheel-side reducer. The diameter of its reduction gear is small, which makes its impact resistance strong. And the reduction ratio of the main reducer is small, and the axle housing is relatively small, thus increasing the ground clearance and having good passability. Therefore, the double-stage axle is mainly used in complex road condition scenarios such as urban construction, mining areas, and field operations. In these scenarios, vehicles often need to face situations such as large slopes and frequent heavy-load starts. The double-stage axle can achieve a larger reduction ratio, has a high torque amplification factor, and has strong power, and can well adapt to these harsh working conditions. Although the transmission efficiency of the double-stage axle is slightly lower than that of the single-stage axle, it can perform excellently under low-speed and heavy-load working conditions.

According to the different needs and usage scenarios of users, shacman has optimized and adapted the single-stage axles and double-stage axles. Whether it is for the pursuit of high-speed and efficient road transportation or dealing with complex and difficult field operation scenarios, suitable solutions can be found in the axle selection of shacman heavy-duty trucks. By continuously improving the quality and performance of the axles, shacman has provided users with more reliable and efficient transportation tools and has won a good reputation in the heavy-duty truck market.
